Made well, cared for easily
Heritage materials, honest care.
We choose materials that earn their keep — durable, beautiful, and built to age well. Here's what goes into Native Supply gear, and how to keep it going for years.
What we use
- Waxed cotton canvas — weather-resistant, re-waxable, softens with every trip
- Full-grain leather with solid & brushed-brass hardware that develops a natural patina
- Stainless steel & double-wall vacuum insulation for drinkware
- Merino wool & wool-blend textiles for blankets, socks and headwear
- FSC-certified oak & hand-poured soy wax for home & hearth
Caring for your gear
| Waxed canvas (bags, totes, rolls) | Spot-clean with cold water; re-wax as needed, never machine-wash |
| Leather (wallets, fobs, straps) | Wipe clean, condition occasionally, air dry away from heat |
| Insulated drinkware | Hand-wash; avoid the dishwasher to protect the insulation |
| Wool blankets & apparel | Hand-wash cold or wool cycle, lay flat to dry |
| Brass (lanterns, hardware) | Let it patina, or polish back to shine with a brass cloth |
